Privacy, in plain language.

This policy applies to Routewing — Europe for Android phones and tablets, iPhone, iPad, and Mac, and to the website at routewing.online. Routewing is operated by the developer identified on its applicable store listing. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to contact@opero.tools.

• Game-run statistics. When a run ends and the service is reachable, the game sends a randomly generated installation identifier, score, run duration, routes created, airports unlocked, passengers delivered, game-over reason, game version, and platform. The server adds the time received and whether the score entered the top three.
• Wishlist email. We store an email address only when someone voluntarily submits the wishlist form on this website.
• Website analytics. Google Analytics records a page view and whether the visitor clicks the App Store link, the Google Play link, the macOS download, or successfully submits the wishlist form. Google Analytics may process a first-party client identifier, approximate location, browser and device information, referrer, page URL, and IP address as part of providing the service. The wishlist email address and game-run identifier are never sent to Google Analytics.
• Technical request data. The service processes an IP address to enforce request limits and protect the API. Hosting infrastructure may also process standard request information such as time, requested path, response status, browser or app user agent, and IP address for security and reliability.
• On-device data. The game stores the personal best and random installation identifier locally. It does not use an advertising identifier.

Routewing does not collect names, account credentials, precise location, contacts, photos, payment information, or advertising identifiers. It does not use Firebase or advertising SDKs. Google Analytics is the only website analytics provider.

Game-run statistics are used to operate the anonymous top-three leaderboard and improve the balance and reliability of Routewing — Europe. Wishlist emails are used only to announce the next Routewing game. Website analytics are used only to count visits, the three store or download-link actions, and successful wishlist registrations. Technical request data is used for rate limiting, security, troubleshooting, and service availability.

Where applicable, these uses rely on consent for the wishlist and on our legitimate interests in operating, securing, measuring, and improving Routewing.

The public leaderboard displays only a place and score. It never displays the installation identifier, email address, detailed run statistics, or submission time.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising or cross-app tracking. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers that host or protect the service, acting on our behalf, or disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect Routewing and its users.

If analytics is allowed, Google processes the limited website analytics described above as our analytics provider. Advertising storage, advertising personalization, and Google Signals are disabled.

Apple separately processes App Store and TestFlight data, and Google separately processes Google Play data, under their respective privacy terms.

The homepage trailer is hosted on YouTube. Its player loads only after you choose to play it, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed mode. When the player loads, Google receives connection and playback information under its privacy policy. The preview image is served by Routewing.

Wishlist emails are retained until the next-game announcement has been sent, the wishlist is discontinued, or deletion is requested. Game-run records are retained while they are useful for the leaderboard and service improvement, unless deletion is requested or a longer period is required by law. Google Analytics information follows the retention settings configured for the Routewing Analytics property. Infrastructure logs, when enabled by the hosting provider, follow the configured operational retention period.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of data associated with you, or withdraw a wishlist signup, by emailing contact@opero.tools. Include the wishlist email address or other information needed to locate the record. Because game statistics use only a random identifier and no account, we may be unable to associate a run with you unless you can provide that identifier.

Routewing remains playable when its optional online score service is unavailable. Failed score or leaderboard requests never block gameplay.

Routewing is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data, contact us so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.

Data is transmitted over HTTPS in production. We use access controls, authenticated administration endpoints, request-size limits, and rate limits designed to reduce unauthorized access and abuse. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

This policy may be updated when Routewing's features or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated with material revisions.
